Easy Rider Tour from Nha Trang to Phong Nha
Day 1: Nha Trang – Lak lake
We start the day with a visit to The Lost Rusaka Resort with the architecture of BaNa ethnic group and go on to Luong Son fishing village to esperlence the life here. We stop on the way to see some prawn farms, a brick workshop in Ninh Phung, the U.S Army training camp before 1975 and the village of YaRay ethnic group. Sightseeing on Phuong Hoang pass and discovering matriarchy in the village of Ede ethnic group are before breaktime. A visit to a wood carving workshop is set before lunch at a local restaurant. Coffee plantatons, a cashewmet processing company are two next stops. We could be riding along the area of an minority ethnic group then take a short break at a dam there. You can choose to spend the night at Lak Lake Resort or at “long house” of the minority ethnic group.
Day 2: Lak lake – Buon Me Thuot city
On morning, it’s a nice for elephant riding (extra 14 usd/hour) or do the boat trip around the lake to have some great of the sunrise, of the minority fisherman (discover M’Nong culture), then we keep going to Gia Long, Dray-sap and Dray-nu waterfalls (the most beautiful waterfall), enjoy swimming into the Fairy Pool near waterfall. On the route, we’ll stop at elephant rock, see the broken church and Buon Me Thuot City.
Day 3: Buon Me Thuot city – Pleiku
Travelling on the way, we’ll continue visiting war memorial, plant of black pepper, cashew and rubber plantation, local market. Over night at Pleiku.
Day 4: Pleiku – Kontum
Seeing something in Pleiku, enjoying Sea Lake (bien ho), then continue to Kon Tum for visit an old wooden church, orphanages, few hill tribe villages around Kon Tum (Bahnar villages with Rong House). Over night at Kon Tum.
Day 5: Kontum – Kham Duc
Keep on to Dak To and Charlie Hill with Phoenix Air – Base to know more about the War between the Southern and Northern Goverments. You’ll learn more about the History of Vietnamese people with the legendary of the North Ho Chi Minh trail and experience the daily life of highlanders who live along the road. Over night at a small mountain town on HCM trail (Kham Duc town).
Day 6: Kham Duc – Small town HCMC trail
Leaving Kham Duc town, we’ll continue on HCM trail, visit some small group hill tribe: De, Trieng, K’Tu … with nature of the Northern Highland near Lao Border. Over night at small town on HCM trail.
Day 7: Small town HCMC trail – A Luoi
Learn more about Ethnic minority culture of their wild life in the edge of Truong Son mountain, local market and different Rong House along the road, rain forests. Stay one night at A Luoi.
Day 8: A Luoi – Hue
Visit the historic hamburger hill, Ta Oi, Ba Co Ethnic minority villages, keep going to Hue for Royal Citadel, King Tomb, Thien Mu Pagoda. One night in Hue.
Attention: We can go to Hue from Hoi An after 6 days trip from tour “Dalat to Hoi An”. On this route, we’ll visit marble mountain, China beach, conical hat making, Hai Van pass.
Day 9: Hue – Cuu Tung beach
Leaving Hue for Cua Tung beach, we’ll stop at formerly battle field for visiting DMZ, Ben Hai river, Vinh Moc tunnels. You’ll learn more about Vietnamese War History. Over night at Cua Tung beach.
Day 10: Cuu Tung beach – Phong Nha
Leaving for Phong Nha caves, the largest and most beautiful cave in Viet Nam, Unesco World Heritage site in 2003, do boat trip visit underground cave and walk up to see dry cave interest of stalagmites. Stay in Phong Nha.
Day 11: Phong Nha – Dong Hoi
Leaving for Dong Hoi, you can get the bus ticket or train for Ha Noi, or go to Laos via Lao Bao or Cau Treo. The end the trip.
